  • Come On In

Are you big? Are you small?
Do you listen when the wild winds call?
Are you wise, but learning still?
Well, come on in if you will.

I am bigger than the fly on the wall
Though the mountains think I'm small.
I am wise, but learning still.
Shall I sing for you? I think I will.

    Music and poetry
Weave a kind of magic spell.
If you're brave come sit with me.
I only mean to wish you well.

Are you big? Are you small?
Do you listen when the wild winds call?
Are you wise, but learning still?
    Well, come on in.
Welcome, come on in if you will.

    Somebody Near You

Pat the head of somebody near you,
Somebody near you, somebody near you.
Pat the head of somebody near you
    Somebody next to you.

    Say "Hi." Say "Bye."
    Now wiggle with a friend
Like two trees out in the wind.

    Shake the hand...
    Say "Hey, let's play."
    Open up your magic purse
    And throw me another verse.

    Scratch the back...
Say "Ho, let's go." Now all get on your feet,
But keep listening for the beat.

    Dance around with...
    "Hey you! What's new?"
    Now turn yourself around,
And put both feet back on the ground.

    Hop up and down...
    Stand tall, now get small.
Now sit back on the floor
    We're not hopping anymore.

    Smile and wink...
    Say "Hi." Say "Bye."
    This game is gonna end,
But someday soon we'll play again.

    The Little Red Hen

    Chorus:
    "Quack," said the Duck
    "I don't wanna help you."
    "Baaa," said the Lamb
"I've got better things to do."
    "Arf," said the Dog
"And that goes for me, too.
"Fine I'll do it all, then"
    Said the Little Red Hen.

    Last chorus:
    "Quack said the Duck
    "I'm hungry as can be."
    "Baaa," said the Lamb
    "That bread smells heavenly."
    "Arf," said the Dog
    "And don't forget me!"
    "Yeah, well... think again!"
    Said the Little Red Hen.

    Winter and Spring

    Winter falls white
    While the winds blow about,
    But spring grows green
    From the inside out.
    Spring grows green.
    Spring grows grenn.
    Spring grows green
    From the inside out.

    The Sailing Song

You and me, we're out on the sea
    Underneath a sky of blue,
    Watching the fish
    And making a wish
And hoping it might come true
Till all at once the wind from the East
Comes roaring in like a beast.

Yo, ho! The waves are crashing.
Yo, ho! The wind is high.
    Yo, ho! The water's splashing
And I'm too young to die,
We're all too young to die.

"Reef the main!" I yell through the rain,
"And dog the hatches!" I cry.
    "Throw out the sea anchor!"
"Put up the storm sail there!"
"And maybe we won't have to die.""But captain," I hear
    "We see bones blowing white
On a flag as black as the night!"

Yo, ho! The waves are crashing.
Yo, ho! The wind is high.
    Yo, ho! The water's splashing
And I'm too young to die,
We're all too young to die.

We're going down and that ship's coming round
And the pirates will get us for sure.
    We wave to surrender,
    But stop then in wonder.
    How could this occur?
For the pirates are legos as fine as you please,
Lego pirates out sailing the seas!

Yo, ho! The waves are crashing.
Yo, ho! The wind is high.
    Yo, ho! The water's splashing
And I'm too young to die,
We're all too young to die.
    Story narrative ending...

    Goldilocks

    Goldilocks came knock, knock, knocking.
We were out walking around the block and
    Goldilocks came knock, knock, knocking,
    Knocking at my door.

    Someone's been eating my porridge!
    Someone's been eating my porridge!
    Someone's been eating my porridge!
I hope we've got some more in storage.
(Mom! Somebody ate it all up! Can you believe this?
    What happened?)

    Goldilocks came knock, knock, knocking.
We were out walking around the block and
    Goldilocks came knock, knock, knocking,
    Knocking at my door.

Someone' been sitting in my chair!
Someone' been sitting in my chair!
Someone' been sitting in my chair!
And it's all broken! No Fair!
(Dad, it's all in pieces on the floor! Can you believe this?
    What happened?)

    Goldilocks came knock, knock, knocking.
We were out walking around the block and
    Goldilocks came knock, knock, knocking,
    Knocking at my door.

Someone's been sleeping in my bed!
Someone's been sleeping in my bed!
Someone's been sleeping in my bed!
And she's not moving, I think she's dead!
(She was sleeping. But she woke up
    And screamed, "BEARS!"

    Goldilocks went run, run, running.
She had her fun, but the stories done, 'cause
    Goldilocks went run, run, running,
    Running out my door.
    Goldilocks narrative ending...
    Original chorus one more time.

    Aunt Cecilia

    Aunt Cecilia stares at me
    As I go walking by.
    I don't say a word to her
And she won't ask me why.
Every day's the same, in fact
And no one cares at all.
I go by as she stares in silence.
I stroll by as she glares in silence.
I walk by as she stares in silence
    Framed upon the wall.

    On A Train

On a train. On a train.
We're all riding on a train.
On a train. On a train.
We're all riding on a train.

See the mountains, the tall, tall mountains
Covered at the top with snow.
See the valleys, the deep, deep valleys.
Mountains and valleys and ** here we go

On a train. On a train.
We're all riding on a train.
On a train. On a train.
We're all riding on a train.

See the river, the winding river.
    Where do the rivers flow?
See the fishes, jumping in the water,
Rivers and fishes and ** here we go

On a train. On a train.
We're all riding on a train.
On a train. On a train.

See the cows, the big, big cows
    Mooing soft and low (MOO)
See the clover, growing on the hillside,
Cows and clover and ** here we go

On a train. On a train.
We're all riding on a train.
On a train. On a train.

    Chicken Little

Oh, no!   The sky is falling!
    Oh yeah!   It's falling down!
Oh no!   The sky is falling!
    Falling (BOOM) to the ground.

It all got started one bright and sunny morning
With Chicken Litle eating underneath the apple tree.
She felt a bump on her head and said
Oh, what's a happening to me?" She said

Oh, no!   The sky is falling!
    Oh yeah!  It's falling down!
Oh no!   The sky is falling!
    Falling (BOOM) to the ground.

Chicken Little knew that she had to tell somebody
So she took off a running just as fast as she could fly.
Soon she ran right into Henny Penny who asked her
"Hey! Is there a fox nearby?"
    And she said

Oh, no!   The sky is falling!
    Oh yeah!   It's falling down!
Oh no!   The sky is falling!
    Falling (BOOM) to the ground.

Chicken Little started off again with Henny Penny,
Running round the farm underneath the sky of blue.
One by one they found Turkey Lurky,
Goosy Poosy and Ducky Lucky, too
    And they all said...

Oh, no!   The sky is falling!
    Oh yeah!   It's falling down!
Oh no!   The sky is falling!
    Falling (BOOM) to the ground.

Finally, they met the wise old owl
Who led them back beneath the apple tree.
"I don't see any sky," he said.
"It looks like apples to me."
So they had to change their tune,
Or at least, change their words...

Oh no!   The apples are falling!
    Oh yeah!  They're falling down!
Oh no!   The apples are falling!
    Falling (BOOM) to the ground.

    I Love You 100

    I love you 100. 101. 102. 103.
I love you, I love you, I love you, I do.
And oh, I know you love me.

    I love you 1,000. 1,001. 1,002. 1,003.
I love you, I love you, I love you, I do.
And oh, I know you love me.

More than the stars that shine in the sky
    Bright as they can be.
More than the grains of sand that lie
    Beneath a shimmering sea.

    I love you 1,000,000. 1,000.001. 1,000.002. 1,000,003.
I love you, I love you, I love you, I do.
And oh, I know you love me.
And Oh, I know you love me.
